I loved this book. I related to the characters, I love the author's writing style and I did not want the story to end. It's been two days and I haven't been able to get into another book yet because I can't move on from Ryan and Kat. I even went back through the book and reread my favorite Ryan and Kat moments rather than start a new book. Ryan is the kind of romantic male lead that I have missed in some of my more recent reads. He's charming and caring and gentle. The opposite of the controlling abusive bad boys that seem popular lately. I want to be friends with the characters in this book.

Kat Fight Dina Silver 9781470173272 Books Reviews

This one was a light-hearted, quick read that had that perfect balance of witt and angst. It made me laugh and reflect at the same time.

In her 20s, Kat's ready for that next step in the relationship path - to get engaged. But the man she was with since college doesn't have time for her and she's extremely attracted to the guy her best friend is dating. Dina Silver takes us through all the fun (ok, maybe not so fun) and entertaining things that happen next for Kat.

Silver definitely has a way with words that blends the elements of humor, drama and romance together. If you're looking for a cute, easy read, this one won't disappoint.
I started this story off with a smile and that smile was mixed with many other facial expressions during the reading process. I was happy, sad, laughing, shaking my head, grimacing, swallowing my water the wrong way due to outrage, and finally left smiling. All in all a remarkably real study in the war of the sexes - you know of what I speak and it's been going on since the dawn of time. It's that Yin/Yang thingy male and female, light and dark, hot and cold, water and fire, life and death.....etc.). The constant 'tug' of war and in this book it's about the 'tug' of love and how we get through it.

I loved the characters which I felt were all fleshed-out individually. Nobody blended into another character because each was so different. Kat was just plain nutty at times. She'd met the one man (Ryan) who pushed all the right buttons and yet she didn't know the first thing about dealing with that one special relationship since she'd settled for 'crumbs' from a poor relationship for so long. If there was a mistake to be made.....Kat made it and the fallout was wonderfully written. Ryan was just plain fabulous - not perfect but certainly perfect for Kat. There are many side characters as well and nobody stands out better than Kat's BGF - Adam. He showed a sense of humor that was sarcastic, snarky, and sensitive. He's the best friend each of us gals would certainly treasure in our lives.

We even got a bit of heat - always appreciated by this reader!

I quite enjoyed this book. It's definitely one to be reread and treasured. Thank you dear authoress.
I really wanted to like this book more than I did. I kept hoping that the book would get better- meaning that I would become more enamored with the main characters (Ryan and Kat). But I ended up reading the book more to read Kat's Gay BFF, Adam than anything else. His witty banter saves the book. His role as the endearing, funny, sarcastic and witty gay best friend is wonderful. He saves the book.

Kat's personality is a bit annoying - the amount of time she spends goofing off at work, perpetually being late (and doesn't seem to mind) and constantly doubting her beauty is not endearing - it's a bit annoying. Ryan's role seems to be reduced to the good-looking 'bit part' boyfriend. You don't get a sense of the depth of his feelings for Kat. When he does get to 'speak', it is great - but he plays a smaller role in this book. Most of the book I feel dizzy from Kat's anxious and frantic ranting and worrying. Ryan's personality is very calm and thoughtful - can't really see the two of them together. Her spazziness doesn't seem to fit with him demeanor.

Okay - so with that - i Still recommend the book to read for the banter with Adam. He is great. Everyone should have a friend (gay or not) like Adam. Love him. Love that HE also gets a HEA. That moved me more than Kat's HEA.....
Kat fight is a super funny book about this cute character named Kat who is working as an Ad. exec. and having lots of fun with her girlfriends and her gay best friend Adam. Kat is a romantic and really wants to be married but her boyfriend Marc is not ready for commitment. Kat breaks up with Marc and decides to give her heart a break, but her best friend Julie has other plans and decides to help Kat date again. Kat goes on a blind date and meets and quickly falls in love with Ryan and finds herself trying to decide which guy she is destined to be with. Kat is fun, flirty and super cute and just so real that you will feel immediately bonded to her. Kat and her crazy flirtations are so funny that you will read the book quickly because you don't want to miss any of the fun. 5 - stars!

LOVED it!!! This is the second Dina Silver book I have read this week! I love her writing as her characters and the situations they find themselves in are very real...I really connected to them.

Kat Fight is about Kat, a twenty-something at a crossroads in her relationship. Boldly she refuses to be a doormat any longer and gives her boyfriend of 4 years an ultimatum to either shape up or ship out. What Kat did not count on was he would ship out, thus the start her adventures in being a singleton for the first time in a long time. Her best girlfriend, Julie sets her up with a friend of her boy of the hour, Ryan. This is where it gets interesting because Ryan and Kat are clearly interested in each other. Don't despair there is not any blatant behind your back stabbing going on. Oh and just when Kat starts to think she has it all figured out, her ex realizes the error of his ways and wants Kat back.

The pace is perfect and there is humor infused throughout the story...I found myself giggling aloud often. I cannot believe I have just discovered this author! This was an extremely fun, fast, feel-good read...I recommend it!
